    Stryker Solution

Guessing its the solution to their older model where limbs blew up all the time. A 350 and 390fps model.

I told myself I'd never get one and then I shot my buddies Stryker 380 and I was impressed...great accuracy, speed, relatively quiet. Now that they have a 390 I may just have to bite...thx for the post Nick...good coverage of the events as usual!

If the limb issue is fixed these are awesome xbows. Best trigger on the market IMO.

That's a big if. They have a serious problem there. They completely fold up. I shot a 380 at the shop brand new and watched it delaminate after the first shot!

They do have smooth triggers. As to the limb issues it sounded as if this was more an issue with the earlier production models based on what I read. I've had 4 separate friends purchase 380's over the course of the past year and not a one had limb issues...of course they could have just been lucky :-/. Still it's an impressive setup!

Don't recall reading that, but I would like to think so...and I they have limbs blowing up all over they really need to! Hmmm wonder if you can put 390 limbs on a 380 chassis?

The 350s were OK. 380s blew up if you looked at em. 2 years ago anyway.

Yea it was a while ago that I shot that one. Still see them coming into the shop folded up on occasion though.

K did some research and could not find anything on he BT or Stryker website but a broader search turned up discussions on other sites and forums which indicated 2 recalls, the first in March 2011 for the Safety mechanism and a second (date was not clear) for the limb issues.

I have shot my Stryker 380 though out this last season without issues. The trigger and light weight make the Stryker a standout. I know three other hunters with the 380s and none of them have experience limb issues.
