    Perrys No Peep

So, for those that don't know me well - SPEED RULES! So in my quest for speed, I decided approx. 18 mos. ago to go peepless. So Thursday, I call Perry to inquire about his product. Well about an hour later, I am convinced it is worth giving it a try. So I ordered one of his new models coming out May 26th, but Perry agrees to send me a current model now for evaluation.

So here it is Sat. afternoon and guess what showed up - yep, you guessed it - Perrys No Peep ( http://www.perrysnopeep.com/ ).

I had him send an OD Green in 3 pin .019 to go on my new D350 Optifade coming from Breathn ( Johns Custom Archery). WOW this thing is VERY light weight. First impression is that it kind of resembles the Hind Sight, only much better looking and seems it is better engineered (OK so I wasn't a fan of the Hind Sight). Plus I like that it has a bubble unlike the SABO.

I'll be evaluating this against the IQ and the SABO over the next 3-4 weeks, but so far this already has a 'Very Cool' factor going on... Almost as cool as the holographic pin dots on the SABO.

A couple fps here, a couple fps there, it ALL adds up brother!

Fortunately, Jerry at South Shore has made me mature in regards to arrow selection... FOC is what it is all about, so I will be moving up to a 400ish gr arrow this year - Harvest Time HT2s of course!!!

That looks pretty interesting. Seems a lot more precise then some of the others I have tried. Let us all know how you find it.

No. Actually I just hit the "b" key instead of the "h" key. Then spell check changed it to Baer. Then didn't proof read my post. And on the IPhone that is easy to do.

Nice try CD but the B and the H aren't even in the same row! Stick with blaming the drugs..... we'll buy that!

The one and only flaw with the iPhone/iPad is their spell check algorithm. BB inteli-type is much better...

That sight bracket scares me. I understand the concept.....but isn't that thing pretty heavy? What is the cost....and....difference between the old and new models?

Did you just say you were skeerd Dave?

Actually it is surprisingly light! Way lighter than the IQ and about the same or slightly lighter than the SABO. Much lighter than say the Hogg Father, the Centurion, or even Hogg-It sights.

$219 for the new model. Same technology, Perry has just added additional windage adjustments and made it aesthetically more appealing...

Give that thing a good once over. I am intrigued. My "fear" was the weight of the sight. But if it isn't bad, then I may have to give one a try. How many pins can you get? Oh hell.....I will look them up.....need more coffee this morning :x :x

Once old 2x goes to the Goat Tuff release and adds 3" to his DW, he'll be able to afford giving up the 1fps the 5gr peep chews up.

Also 2, I'm working on a release aid the works from the elbow. We just need Kevin to make a speed bow that has a 42" DL to use it on. Hehe

Kevin, hurry up already - 42" DL has to be a 400 fps IBO bow!!!
