I shot the exxus last weekend. It does look as if the longhorn and stan sx2 had a love child. It is very comfortable in the hand. It has a texturized finish that makes it feel like it won't slip around , or out of your hand. The trigger and jaw look and feel identical to the sx2, very crisp trigger with almost no travel. Still, it seemed loud to me, like the sx2. Nice release, but for 225, I think they could have done better.

NO! I saw them at $169.99. That is still a bite out of the wallet.......but not 225.00.
This was the red/black model, camo may be higher but certainly not $55.01 higher.

Yeah, my $65 Scott Silverhorns work just fine. But......I sure would like to try the Exxus anyway.
