I'm digging all their new stuff...The Ulmer Edge head is great and what I'll be shooting this year, the new Smackdown is a big improvement over last years, and the new Heartbreaker sight is freakin dope.

I've never been a single pin fan but this sight might change that opinion. Looking good.

My thoughts exactly. When Dan took the time to show us all of the features of the site I decided then and there to give the sight a shot this year. It is amazing!!!!

Looks like a guy could add another pin if he wanted too...I haven't seen it in person but I bet a guy could add an up pin from the bottom on it. I know on Dan's old sights they always had the bolt in up pin from the bottom.
If I wasn't on Black Gold's Staff I'd be picking one of those up this year cause it's my kinda sight....But Black Gold takes to good of care of me so I have to stick with them. It's a great looking sight though and if Dan designed it I'm sure it's tough as nails and works like a Rolex cause he always builds really good things.
Even though I really like the AAE ProDrop I'm shooting now I'd say before fall one of those new Smackdown Pro's will be on my hunting rig cause that's a sweet looking rest.

Tough as nails and works like a Rolex is a great way to describe it.

DOA I hope you get one of these SOON and put it through its paces. For various reasons I usually end up only being able to use my slider sights out to 50 yards max. The ability to sight in and then adjust the front housing and the rear slider to utilize the full travel of each is a phenominal step forward. I used to shoot a Pronghorn drop away and I have hopes the new sight is as bomb proof as that rest was. Do you know off-hand whether or not the pin can be made to come up from the bottom as opposed to down from the top?

I agree with you on the part of being able to adjust the slide grooves in the housing so you can get back the full range of motion...That's a great idea and something I've thought needed done on a slider sight for a very long time. Kudos to Dan for actually putting that feature into a sight.
I havent heard if you can flip the pin around to the bottom of the housing, but I bet you can...If you notice in the video Dan talks about adding a 2nd pin to the sight and I know every sight TrophyTaker has released in the past as had the bottom up pin in them. It wont be a spooled fiber pin, it'll just have a short piece of fiber attached to the pin itself but I bet you will be able to use one in it.

This one could be the sight of my choice for hunting in Oz.
I want to use two different arrow weights, one for buffs and one for hogs.

Always liked the TT products and their great CS.
Would like to take a closer look at this sight.
Hopefully they will update their website soon. The current bow sight looks way different to that one in the video.

After watching the video again I'm starting to get worried about Dan...He's just a puny little thing now days, lol.
I'm convinced that he doesn't shoot all those monster elk he kills, he runs the things down and just breaks their necks...I bet he even packs them out whole, he's a mountain of a man. His 120yd shooting videos over on YouTube are pretty dang impressive with a hunting rig, that guy can shoot a freakin bow.

Not sure I like that BH. Don't like the pivoting blades; first if one side does contact something that pushes it in, the other blade is cutting/chopping at about a 90 degree angle. Also, those flaps that push out the blade are not sharp and will still be out next to the blades as the blades cut through. Maybe that does not make much difference, but I only want sharp blades out when going through an animal. I'm sure many will but them as they look like a lot of research went into them, but they will keep me from trying them if anyone gives a ____.

Man what some well thought out designs. Such a smart way to simplify the slider so that you can quickly get to the full range of motion. Hope it accepts a high fiber amount single up pin. The side load bristle slot will make me jump ship from the ProV, just the way I prefer to load the arrow from years of QAD shooting. I know his business seems to be going good, but Dan could quit his job and play left tackle in the NFL for a few years on the side. Great videos DOA! X2 - When does the sight hit the market, anyone know? Thanks

I know alot of people have been asking about ship dates and when the new products will be on the market from TrophyTaker. I just got off the phone with them to have them send me the new dealer catalogs & price sheets for 2012 and I asked about the new items....Here's the estimated dates when they will start to ship out.

    2012 Smackdown & Smackdown Pro rests= APRIL
2012 Heartbreaker Pro sight= Should have some in and ready to ship by the end of next week "single & 3 pin heads for now"/ So Feb. 3rd roughly
2012 Ulmer Edge mechanical broadheads= End of FEBURARY

Just thought I'd throw it on here since I've seen alot of people asking about the new stuff.
