    Diamond Deadeye

Anyone shoot a Diamond Deadeye yet? I hear they are behind in production on the bow due to testing or something like that. I like the looks of it, a single cam with lots of speed, almost like single cam Destroyer. Really want to try one out, its one of the few '11 Bowtech/Diamond lineup that interests me.

I think they are having a hard time hitting the speeds they promised . . .

I shot one the other day. It was a nice shooting bow. Had little vibration at the shot. My only complaint was that it had a pretty pronounced (stiff) breakover into the valley. Unlike the Vengeance that just transitions smoothly to the end before you know it.

I have one for sale...#70 was too much for me.

    I'm a 60# guy.

Not a bad bow, little hump and a little vibe, but it's got good speed for the system.

    ($599) if anyone want it.

Absolutely not. I chrono'd a 29/70 at 337 fps the other day. That puts it at 347 on a 30". Posted IBO on them is 343 fps.

Hence the stiff draw. What's the ATA and brace on the Deadeye?

Was hoping to hear it would be smooth. If its stiff I dont want it, i'd still give it a shot but haven't seen it in any local shops yet. Looks badass in black ops

You don't get 347 without a little bit of stiff! Scottie says this is a very good bow and for $599 it may just be the best overall bow of the year!

True, but I aint all about speed. I still want to give it a shot though! Thats awefully fast, especially for a single cam.

Stiff and smooth are two different things you can have a stiff DFC that is smooth .. as well as an easy DFC that is not smooth

Very true! The destroyer is stiff but smooth, AND fast.

Hoyt CRX is stiff but NOT smooth, AND NOT fast.

Very true statement. As 2xr said, the destroyer is stiff but smooth draw. Would love to try one, I almost bought a destroyer last year, very nice shooting bow

Nice try Sliver old bud, but I'm here to tell you, that no matter what you do, you'll NEVER catch the K-man! He's got such a head start that I'm sure you have to reincarnated at least twice just to be in the same zip code!
