Good to see the Rush came in at the high end of the factory specs(304-311) for your draw. And you are right, that Insanity is smokin' them arrows.

Since the Shift and Rush pretty much did the same performance wise, how do those two compare head to head?

Nice little test Karbon. The shift impresses me most pretty sure that is rated at 332? Every Prime seems to achieve higher than stated speeds. Would like to see the test done on an over cast day or with a light kit indoors. Been my experience shooting a chronograph outside on a clear day makes them read hot.

Anyway nice to see them all hit ibo+ some with a loaded string.

Nice info. That shift is impressive, thats a 7" BH too right? Got to love bows that smoke their IBO. Also interested in your comparisons in the Rush vs Shift. Can you noticeably feel the weight reductions in the 2012 Primes this year?

    Shot a few more arrows.
Slightly different lighting, angled sun. Less consistent I felt, so I shot 7 shot groups, averaged the 5.
Installed Bojax limb dampeners to the top and bottom limb of the Insanity and re shot the group and threw in a 412 grain arrow.

Nice review Karbon, I really love my Shift if you take the inch difference brace into consideration the shift is only shooting 2-4 fps slower than the Insanity. Neshota there is a little felt difference in the wieght my 2011 was 4.52# and my 2012 is 4.16# so a difference of about 5 oz.

Rocket launcher is right, I shot the cpxl at 60# w/32" draw and had to ask the guy if the chrony was working right, I was in Shock-N-aww... I ordered the 60#er, lol

The best place to do a chronograph test is wherever that chrono reads the most consistent. On a sunny day, my chrono will read within 1 fps of each shot. With a light kit it reads within 3 to 4 fps. I know Karbon has the same chrony as I do. I consider the sunlight to be the most accurate for the Beta Shooting Chrony.
