    New Breed Eclipse

Okay, this is for my buddy Bullhound....

My search to replace the Vindicator is done.....I finally got my rest & installed it on the New Breed Eclipse I picked up. I just eyeballed the centershot and started shooting........WOW! This bow is so-o-o smooth !! I know it is only 65# limbs, but I couldn't believe I was even pulling that back....And rolling right into a really nice valley and solid back wall. Double limb stops are the only way to go, at least for me. I wish I had put the drawboard attachment on my press to see how much I was holding, but that will happen another day. Today, I just wanted to shoot......And shoot.....And shoot! You get the point....I didn't want to waste time to get everything perfect, just shoot for the feel of the bow. I finally decided maybe I should put my peep in.....Did that, and started shooting again.....And some more. I just couldn't believe how effortless shooting the ECLIPSE was. I stopped and decided to put the Stokerized stab I bought from James on to see how that felt.....Awesome! After another lengthy session of just pure joy, I remembered I had a sling that Irked had made for me on a trade last fall....put that on and started the whole process again. I kept after it, but then figured I should put the Armortech on it.....Yeah, maybe I should have waited on that one. The sight slipped out of my hands, and even though I gave it a couple of attempts to save it from the concrete floor, the floor beat me & the sight up. Oh well, I have another housing that I can swap out and send this one for dipping at some point in time. BTW, after taking a Sharpie to it to make myself feel better, guess what I did......I shot the Eclipse a bunch more!

Guys, if you're looking for a really nice shooting bow that just hold like a dream, get ahold of one of the New Breed Archery dealers, or even go to their website & leave a message....Kyle has a really great bow in the Eclipse! I know that the Genetix is just as sweet shooting.....Bullhound can attest to it as well, and I'm really thankful he gave me a chance to let me shoot his. I know I have to get my fine tuning done on the bow, but for the first time in several years, I can say that I have a lot of confidence in the weapon I will be packing around with me on the trails this Fall. I can't wait for September to get here.....Hope the Elk are ready, because I know I will be with my Eclipse !!

You gotta dig out the chrono and gives us speed with a light arrow and speed with an arrow that weighs 400-450 grains.
