Don't see anything that outstanding. I am sure they are nice to shoot but nothing I would spend my money on. But I know all the Mathews fanboys on Archerytalk are going to be fighting a raging hard-on about the new lineup.

Just a few of my thoughts LOL

The pictures above of the ZXT and the Creed are both the Creed. The Creed is a split limb whereas the ZXT is a solid limb. Hopefully shooting them this afternoon.

I was very disappointed with the new lineup this year. They've gone back on all their beliefs now. The performance numbers are very sub par. I have no interest in buying anything anyway as I love my MR5 but if I was these bows wouldn't get a second look.

Looks like they are at the end of the line in the speed department so they are going with a new marketing strategy that revolves around smoke and mirrors, I mean smoothness.

CD got it right , there is only so much you can do with a single cam while still making it bearable to draw and hold.

However I still say Mathews makes nice SINGLE cam bows. If I wanted a single cam bow I'd consider Mathews intensely.

    But I don't, so I won't.

I wouldn't say that. They still have 2 bows with 340fps IBO, 1 with 354fps IBO and the 360+fps MR5. I really wasn't expecting them to come out with another bow in the MR5 ballpark but was interested to see a longer ATA option ~35" in the faster IBO segment which they don't have much of. They do still have the 2nd fastest IBO rated bow on the market which many have compared to the Omen side by side and saw the same or better numbers. What I don't like is the back peddling they're now doing on all their original design ideas.

Wonder if the speeds are simply more accurate this time? I'll withhold judgment until I get to shoot 'em.

Someone else asked that on the Mathews Forum as well. All I can say is I've owned a Switchback, Prestige, DXT, Z7, Monster and now my MR5. All have met or exceeded their advertised IBO numbers.
