My go to plastics are Strike King's Coffee Tubes and Senko 5" plastic worms with or without weights depending how deep and always tied on a swivel with a bead.
For drop shot I like using Strike Kings mini tubes..........
Should be on the water fishing but off on a trip, next weekend for sure.....
Haven't done any fishing for 4 years at least. So am starting from scratch basically. Lost all my fish gear to a fire a year and a half ago or so. Except for a couple pieces that was stored in the car garage. You got me wondering about the bead , you mean a swivel like I have tied onto the front of my leader or something else?
I don't use a swivel on a drop shot rig but do on a Carolina rig. I place the bead below the swivel and in theory the bead will tap the swivel creating a sound that supposedly attracts fish.
Something I've always done and to superstitious to change!
