    DIY Outdoor Bow Holder

This DIY costs around $12 to make!

    I purchased:

    4-1" PVC "T" connections
    6-1" PVC endcaps
    1-2' piece of 1" sch40 PVC
    1-10' piece of 1" sch40 PVC

I cut the 10' piece of 1" sch40 PVC into the following:

    1-3' piece
    1-2' piece
    4-1' pieces
    2-6" pieces

The 3' piece is the center upright section, the 2' pieces are for 2 legs, 2 of the 1' pieces are for 2 legs, 2 of the 1' pieces are for the bottom center sections, and the 6" pieces are for the top arms that the bow hangs from. I assembled the base first with 3 "T" connections, the 2 center sections, and the 4 legs. Then I added the center upright section into the center "T" section facing up into the air. Next I put the final "T" connection to the top of the center upright section and put the 6" pieces out from there. Put the endcaps at the ends of the 6" pieces and all 4 legs. DONE!

I did this project in 15 minutes.........no glue since the pieces fit tightly and you can take it apart so that it fits in your archery case or a suitcase for a mobile stand.

I now recommend gluing the center "T" piece in the bottom assembly so that it doesn't twist. I've left my bow holder outside since I made it and it is now starting to get loose and will lean to one side when it only has 1 bow on it. Gluing this piece into place will still allow it to be taken down for portability and only needs to be glued onto one side.

What schedule of PVC did you use? Never mind, I just opened my eyes and read it again.

I made an arrow holder for the yard almost identical...just square base with a large PVC vertical connected with a "T"Joint So I can shove put the arrows in and grab and shoot without the quiver...didn't seal it together so I can break it down and take it camping
