hey brothers and sisters, question for ya;ll,,,,,what do ya;ll think is more important..a very fast bow that shoots 300+,....a bow that is only 50 pounds that is easy to pull and strikes matches.,,,or a heavy arrow for kenetic energy...i like the speed myself, but may crank my bow down to be able to pull it nicely in a tree with alot of limbs...i feel accuracy is more imporant then speed...let me know what ya'll thing

All the above IMO in a package that feels comfortable to me .. I don't shoot 70 lbs anymore .. I have gone a lil' heavier arrow .. fun to shoot and still shooting 290 ...

IMO i purchased a 50# Monster and got all of the above easy to pull from a tree stand 270fps with a hunting arrow and mid to high 50's in KE the short brace height didn't hinder me hunting, didn't have a chance to hunt in the cold weather with it so the bulky clothing never came into question, so its easy to get all three in a bow, all these different bow companys have giving us so many choices now to choose from.

I like a good mix of the three. a moderately fast bow, 325-330 fps IBO, will still allow a fairly forgiving brace height and provide plenty of kinetic energy with a heavier arrow. the heavier arrow will also quieten the bow down dramatically. depending on draw length you should still be shooting between 280 and 300.
