Thanks Tobin01  That makes two contributions......who's next :???:
We have had 119 views and only two contributions. I know we can do better. I need all of my "Outdoor" brothers and sisters (at least I didn't say blood brothers and sisters like uncle Ted...lol) to help me pass the word along to your friends. The more that KNOW.....the more we GROW and that is what it's all about. I appreciate your time and consideration.....God bless!

I wanted to draw more attention to this thread......I know that times are hard on everyone with the current state of the economy, but even the smallest of donations can help. I have traveled all over the word and have seen things far worse than what we experience here in the US. Even if it's just a dollar, each and every dollar adds up. This is for a great cause and will be a wonderful way for you to be a part of it. I hope that no one takes offense to my post, but passing on the things we enjoy each and every year to those that are less fortunate makes me feel better.

Another donation made to a great cause and organization.

Thought that I would freshen up the post! We are gaining momentum and have some great things happening. I will post more about them when I am able to. We now have 10+ hunts and are working with Children's Hospital in Houston, Cardinal Glennon in St. Louis and St. Jude in Memphis, to get our participants referred to us. We are about to sponsor a couple of 4 man scrambles over the next few months as fundraisers. We are also going to raffle a signed bow given to us from a well known outdoor couple. When everything is all together, I will disclose the type of bow and the couples name. You are definately going to want to try and get in on this!

Good things are happening, we have the hunts, we are working on the participants but we still are in need of funds to cover the expenses. Right now we are in need of 3 muzzleloaders and 4 scopes to equip participants for our Bluegrass Dream Weekend with DA Outfitters. We also are in need of binos, range finders and bi-pods for this same event. If you can help us or know of someone who could, please let us know. You can email me personally at rick@dreampursuit.org. :?

Things are picking up for our organization. We are now up to 9 hunts that have been contributed and have made some great friends that have helped us greatly. We are still in need of people to partner with our organization through contributions. We only ask you to give what you can, but please give because your contributions are what we need to make these dreams come together. We currently have 4 hunts lined up to all happen on the same day in E. Kentucky. We are bringing in 4 youth for early muzzleloader season hunts and will need to be able to cover their expenses to and from the hunt.

We also ask that you pass this information along to others that would also like to help. Thanks again and we are greatful for your help!

Thanks Tobin! Things are really progressing quite well with the hunts and contributions from manufacturers. We have been quite fortunate in that area. I am in hopes that we will get a hunt taped this year. We have some potential things in the works that could get one taped and aired on the Outdoor Channel.....more about that if it works out. Have a signed bow coming from a prominate outdoor personality that we will be raffling off to support the hunts in Kentucky with DA Outfitters. I will be sure and post that infomation on here also when I am at liberty to do so.

Thanks again everyone and help when and where you can!

Just received two 10x42 binos from Vanguard. They have been more noted for their hardshell cases they produce for guns, bow and cameras. They also produce tripods and shooting sticks. They have now also entered the optics market and in my opinion, produce an excellent product with great light gathering characteristics, compared to my other binos. Excellent product in it's price range...around $200. retail (very hard to find now days). Be sure and check them out at www.vanguardworld.com.

I also have 4 ThermoCELL devises (including holsters) coming my way, which were contributed by them. This is an excellent product, as many of you are already aware. I would not think of going out during spring turkey season without one! Great bunch of people also and very willing to help us out! Be sure and check them out at www.mosquitorepellent.com.

Now we are in the process of trying to locate a camo apparel manufacturer to help us outfit our participants. Need something pretty soon. Have been in contact with the President of Gound Swat but not sure if anything will happen this year, due some agreements they have for that pattern.

Keep us in mind should anyone have any suggestions, we are allways open to anything you might have that would help! In addition to everything else, we are allways in need of your contributions to keep these Dream adventures happening!!

Thanks,
