What happened to sticking with good equipment ?!?

It amazes me year in and year out, that everyone has to go out and buy a new bow. Yes technology has improved , but so ha salesmanship and tactics.

If I shoot ten spots time and time again, take deer ,turkey etc. consistently what would make someone drop what works just to get something new.

Yes, I have bows that range from the mid 90's to 2000's but my last new bow wasn't bought tiil 06' for my dad.

Just to get 5 more fps or a carbon fiber bridge and cable slide.

    I guess hype replaces sanity!

Well, with that said, my new/ used rpm 360 should be in tomorrow... Woohoo!

Ya gotta look at old bows like ya women. While great in there prime and when new there irreplaceable. But the difference is When women get old there value goes up. When bows get old there value goes down.

Are you smarter than you look? Or did you just happen to stumble onto this bit of wisdom accidentally? Either way, I am impressed! LOL

    Hey,
I have a Jennings quasar frankenbow.... With 100 lb limbs w/ a modified cam set at 60 # . I'll shoot that bow with any spot shooter. The bow is from 95-96 , can't remember. I shot it fingers limited and out shot most trigger men. The bow to this day is still one of my favorites... Taken many of turkey and deer with it too.

I love the bows of old and appreciate the new tech. But I'm serious with the old ones, but just want to play with the new ones.

Sounds like a good relationship... With women not bows...lol

By the way, does anyone know where I can get 27 & 27.5 in draw modules for an elite aigil or is there anyone here I can contact?

    Thanks
