I've been meaning to start shooting archery for the about the last 5-10 years as I've always been interested since shooting as a kid. I took my Late Dads compound bow that was only shot a few times and is in like brand new condition...but it's 20 years old.
I took it to the archery place by me and the told me it was safe to shoot. They put on a new peep and d-loop, arrow rest and sight.
The tech did notice there was really no clearance between the arrow and the bow string.
Here is what's happening. fletching and the string is wearing through...Any ideas on how to remedy this? I want to thank any contributors ahead of time. This is all new to me and its hard getting information.
