Swept are barbed heads, (cant use in every state) the swept has less surface area to catch wind (which is why I think they fly a tad better at distance). the full seem to be a tad tougher head tho, I shot and killed alot of animals with the exodus head swept model and never had a blade break in testing them or shooting them thru animal.

full and swept both are awesome heads, great broadhead you picked up.

Idaho considers this broadhead (full or swept) as barbed which is illegal since the blades sit below the nock point. It's my favorite 3 blade and will be using it in New Mexico. I have not shot the swept...........

I got the swept because of the less drag hoping they will maintain hitting with fps at long range. I am hoping I put a big hole in a muley and pronghorn with them this year.

Out to 40 there isn't much difference if any.

Past 40 my full blades drop off a little low and right compared to the swept.

Have sent the full blade through a bunch of critters with no issues.

This will be first year with the swept.

Yes thats why I ended up with slick tricks this year. I wanted to try ramcats but I'm sure they would be considered a barbed head in Idaho too. I live in MD and thats not an issue but a good friend of mine runs an outfitting buisness in Idaho and I want to do a spring bear hunt out there next spring. I would rather not have to use 2 different heads.

The ramcats aren't considered to be a barbed head. The blades have the ability to fold forward If they don't pass through which makes them a non barbed head. They fly awesome but the blades aren't as tough as others I've shot.

I have heard They fly well too. I liked the 1.38" cut. The videos my shop had showing some ramcat kills were impressive. One of my concerns the blades look very thin and weak. I think they would break or bend going through heavy bone.
That ultimately led to my decision on going with the slick tricks. They just look tough.
