Welcome to the Archery ADDIX Discussion Forums. By using this forum, and these boards, you agree that you will not post any information which is vulgar, harassing, hateful, threatening, invading of others privacy, sexually oriented, or which may violate any state, federal or international laws.
This is a set of privately owned forums. The posts in this forum express the views and opinions of the authors who post them, and do not necessarily represent the views of the owners, administrators, moderators, or webmaster, hereinafter the “Staff” . The Staff is not responsible for the views and opinions expressed by visitors and users of these forums.
The Staff is not responsible for the privacy practices of any user. Information published in these areas becomes public and all users should exercise caution when deciding to share any of your personal information.
Once posted all threads and PMs they are property of the forum and cannot be modified or deleted by anyone other than the Staff.
The Staff may delete any post containing, profanity, vulgarity, harassment, threats, private information, or sexually oriented material. Threads that have been edited or deleted will be copied and archived intact should they be needed in the future. While it is impractical to view every message, the Staff will attempt to remove or edit any objectionable material as quickly as possible. A user who finds material posted by another user objectionable or questionable should contact the Administrators via e-mail or Private Message.
Avatars are a great way to express your personality but there are times when children access our forums so we ask you to please use good taste in your choice of avatar. Nothing sexual or of a violent nature is tolerated and you will be asked to remove it. Should you choose to not remove it in a timely manner a moderator or administrator will remove it for you and you will be issued a warning.
Signatures and personal profiles may not contain links to other websites unless the website is a participating sponsor of ArcheryAddix.. Under certain circumstances links to organizations such as charities or non profits may be used, but not before obtaining prior approval from the forum staff. Links to purely personal websites may be allowed at the discretion of the Staff. Signature lines should be limited to 5 lines or less, and font size #2 or smaller
These forums are intended to be family oriented. However, minors (any person under 18 years of age) are not allowed to post in the Adult Swim section or the Classifieds section due to legal restrictions. Parents may not post for their minor children and are responsible for all transactions. All traders in the classifieds must have a birth date visible in their profile.
FUNDRAISING, SOLICITATION, AND CHARITIES
Asking for money, donations, or to offer giveaways, drawings, or the like is prohibited on ArcheryAddix unless you are a sponsor and have prior administrative approval. Donation requests will be removed. We realize that there are many good causes out there, but we have no way to verify the validity of such.
In order for this forum to be resourceful and provide information related to defined topics, please ensure posts contain substance to said topic. Quality information to assist our members and those browsing the forum is something AAF will always strive for and continue to practice.
Should an infraction of our guidelines or rules occur, the Staff will follow this procedure. The first warning will be made within the body of the thread in a generic statement by a mod or admin. The second and if needed third warning will be issued via email. After 3 written warnings you will receive a 7 day ban (cooling off period). At the end of the cooling off period the ban will be lifted. If a 4th violation occurs another warning will be issued and if a 5th violation occurs you will be banned for life.
SPAM and SPAM-BOTS,
Any first or subsequent posts by a new user account, which is deemed to be Spam posted by a “bot”, will result in automatic deletion of the post and banning of the account. All other instances will follow the general procedure outlined in the “INFRACTIONS” paragraph.
DISCUSSION OF ACTIONS BY THE STAFF
All actions taken by the Staff are final. These actions are only taken after discussion and with the input of the entire team. Threats made to a Moderator/Administrator will not be tolerated. Any form of harassment, including, but not limit to, insults, personal attacks and character assassination directed to the Staff, privately or publicly, may result in a ban of your account. If you disagree with actions taken by the Staff, the proper procedure for voicing that disagreement is via Private Message or Email to a member of the Staff to request the reasons or to explain your side. Although Moderator’s/Administrators decisions are almost always final, if further clarification is necessary, direct it to AddixAdmin. This forum is brought to you, free of charge, courtesy of the Owners and our sponsors. The Owners and the Moderator/Administrators have full-time jobs, families, and other commitments. A reasonable amount of response time should be expected from inquiries.
We cannot, and will not, discuss the reason someone else's account was banned, either in public or in private. Moderating decisions are based on a number of factors, and the action that resulted in the moderating decision is often no longer available for public view. It is inappropriate for users to create threads or post on existing threads denouncing the actions of the moderating team and doing so will result in further moderator action, up to and including account banning.
