    I had it out a few times in really cold weather and it always worked good. I bought mine refurbished on eBay for just over $300

    The raw videos look great. As soon as I modify or edit them the quality does go down. But I'm using free software so that could be it.

    Here are some videos with the d3200 I found on youtube. you can see that the auto focus isn't as fluid as other cameras on the market. but to it's defense they advertise that this is one of the first dslr cameras with auto focus while in video mode. the other cool thing about using the dslr is you are limited on zoom options by you lens so if you want more zoom just buy another lens. I have a 18-55 but I am seeing really quick that a 55-200 is on my short list. but here are the vids

    The biggest setback is that it isn't weather resistant but there are other items on the market to aid that.
