Does anyone know - is Ross going to come out with a 65% module for the Cardiac? They advertise it with one, but apparently there isn't one. I would really like to shoot my Cardiac at 65% let-off rather than 80%. Has anyone talked to them directly?

I'm going to make this into a poll. Who here would like Ross to come out with a 65% module for the Cardiac?

In a word NO

I was told by Amanda there would be no 65% modular for the Cardiac. It was originally thought there would be, but not going to happen at this time. The original advertising went to print before they could change it.

I don't think there is enough "market" for it, based on the machine demand, it would be very costly to kick them out and to do it for a few hundred versus the thousands of bows out there, would be costly.
I dont really care for the feel of the 65% letoff anyways and I am not interested in P&Y or B&C record books, backstraps is my trophy :)

I agree with you on the P&Y and the B&C, but I really like the way a 65% letoff bow draws and feels better than the higher letoff. Just seems more solid to me and I know that I am in the minority there. It also helps to gain about 5-7 fps depending on setup for us short draw shooters.(Mine is 27") In hunting it is not a big deal, but if I were still shooting a lot of competition 3-D that was a lot to me. I am really liking my Cardiac and learning to shoot the 80%. Just will always wonder how it would have been with the 65% on there. Just my .02.

Also not really concerned with P&Y or B&C, although it would be nice to harvest an animal of that size. I think it should be offered for those who want it. :(

I wouldn't mind a 65% letoff module. Not because of speed or P&Y, but becase of the draw cycle - much smoother! :(

Having thought about it a little, I think they should at least have that option available. It might be the only way that they are going to get big-name hunters to shoot their bows (which in turn means publicity), since the pro's generally don't shoot a "representative of the species", but generally onyl the P&Y animals.

So, although the market for it might not be that big, I do think that it is improtant to at least have that option available. Being an engineer, I realize that it is expensive to design a new cam module, especially if the market isn't that big, but they could charge more for it than the current $10. I'm sure the guys who want it wouldn't mind paying a few $$ for it. JMHO. :???:
