Well guys I am getting ready to purchase my first Ross bow!! I am buying an 06 cr334!! I was directed to this forum by a friend over on AT and i figured I would come over and join. I guess I should tell a little about myself. My name is Matt Millard, I am 15yrs old and soon to be 16. I am from Northeast Tennessee. I took my first archery deer this year, a button buck. I have been hunting since I was 12 and have taken 3 deer. This year was a big year for me, I did all my scouting and hung all my stands and it paid off for me with 2 deer. I saved up money wherever I could to buy me a ross after my browning has caused me nothing but trouble. When I get it I am gonna have to slowly piece together my setup. I cant wait to get my ross and start shooting it!!! Feel free to give me any tips, or anything like that. I may go to you guys for help with getting my setup complete!! Its good to be here

Ditto on the free supplies to set up your bow! I was going to mention that on my first post but then forgot to add that.

PM me and I'll share with you what I've got... it's not a ton of stuff, but if I have something you need, you're welcome to it.

Oh wow!! Thank you soo much!! I wasn't expecting all of that, I am really interested in trying the apa rest, it looks pretty neat. I think I may eventually work towards a drop away, maybe a quad hunter, or like a kaz away type full containment drop away.

you really know how to take care of someone, if i had my choice between a drop away and an apa id probably go drop away but then again the apa design really interests me. It looks like a wb concept without the speed loss and its probably quieter than the wb

cool!! out of the three, which did you like the best?

I have pretty much gotten myself into the sport, my step dad helped me in the beginning but that kinda fell through. I had some some help by some guys over on huntingnet with a few arrows back when I had to have the procedure done on my heart. I have done what I can to help my little nephew when I can. I really want him to get into the sport so I pass a few gadgets here and there along to him.I passed my first bow along along to him, i little nova with the plastic wheels. A few things here and there. You dont know how much I appreciate the help, its hard to get a good setup on your own when you cant have a job. I mow yards and stuff during the summer, but grass doesnt grow in the winter  I truly appreciate it

I put the APA rest plus some Beman ICS hunter arrows, a bow sling, D loop material, string leeches, kisser button, Tru peep, arrow nocks, and a 4 inch Doinker in a box for you.

I will try to mail it tomorrow, if not it will go out Monday for you Matt.
