I am shooting goldtip 5575 at 27.5 length out of my cardiac with 67# draw at 28.5 draw length 100 grain tips and 2 inch blazers and when i put in the little deal on goldtip.com it says my forward of center is off to far back I think it was around 13 something just wondering. Thanks

That setup looks good to me. I honestly have never paid attention to this FOC mumbo jumbo, important or not.

I here cougars back 12 yrs ago when me and my dad owned a bow shop we just set the bow up and figured out what arrow to use and was done with it I have been out of it for 10 yrs now and all this foc and spine and other mess is confusing the heyall out of me. I went from shooting a onieda aero force last year that was 10 yrs old to this Cardiac big difference and on top of that tryin to figure this arrow mess out is killin me back then carbons was just a dream everyone still shot the good ole xx75

If they are grouping good DON"T worry about FOC, that was a big thing for target shooters more than hunters.

If you are getting good groups and looking good on paper then I would not give it a second thought. I think 10%-12% may be considered ideal, but you can achieve good arrow flight anywhere from 7%-18% from what I've read. I just checked mine and it was 12.58%. I think you are fine at 13%. Just my .02.

13% FOC is fine...........

I have hunted with arrows as low as 8% FOC as as high as 14% from 10-60 yards, no probs.

Yep, good advice from one and all . Sounds as if you're set up fine. If you're really curious, plug in to your formula with a heavier or lighter point, but in the end, your down range groups and arrow flight will tell the tale. Good luck and shoot with confidence :grin:

yeh I shot today and have real erradic arrow flight going to go back to the pro shop tommorrow and see what is going on I have paper tuned it and looked good and does good tell I get out to 40 yards and my groups go from 4 inch to 7 inch don't know it just started doing it about 2 days ago

Well just got back from the pro shop and had a little string stretch going on got back to shootin bullets 4 inch groups at 40 and put a different cable slide on i believe he said it was a old PSE slide black and rounded alot more than the ross he said when he got some ross slides in we would install one
