It's now only a matter of days until I'll be the proud owner of a new Ross. I was set on the 334 but decided a few months ago to wait for the new Cardiac. I hope it is worth the wait ...otherwise I'm coming home with a 334. I'm came acroos this site from A/T while trying to research rest and sights for my new rig. I was initially looking at the Alpine Whisperflite, but tried a slick rest from Vital Bow Gear at a pro shop. It seemed to work pretty nice but was set up on a Bowtech Guardian. It actually secured the arrow in the rest until the bow is drawn. Seemed like a decent hunting rig, but thought I'd run this past you guys for any input. Any suggestions would be appreciated. The last bow I owned was a 14 year old Proline - Point Blank with a TM hunter rest. It worked well for me so I never bothered to look at anything else until I set my 8 year old up with a bow this past fall. I realized that I'm ready for a new rig. I'm hoping to get it set up and some flight time before turkey season.

thanks
DB

Welcome.

Sorry I can't give you any info on the rest....I use Whisker Biscuit or Trophy Ridge drop zone rests for my bows....I have come to really like the them both. :(

Welcome, I had one of the Vital Bow Gear rest like what you are talking about, it was OK, but it had alot more travel than you need in my opinion. I would go for something simplier.
