I heard some good things about how bucks/old does would cross someone's path how was using deer dander and the deer never spooked. I've also read threads how the deer fallowed the trail that some hunter was just on.

I used deer dander last year. I only got out a couple times. I had a buck downwind of me about 15 yards while I was on the ground and he spook. I will be using it this year for sure.

I have heard about using vanilla as a cover scent. I might try that as well.

If you want to try a vanilla cover take a look at Cover-up...I have used that for years and it seems to be a very good product...seems to be quite a curiousity scent for the deer.

id try dander, but maybe hold off if its a fitzgerald product..
