Went to a T.H.E. tournament in Ada OK. this past weekend and had a blast. The scoring is a little different and it is a more realistic shooting-hunting scenario than the more prominant tournaments...all tournaments are a great opportunity to shoot and improve on skills. Having said all that, I hope ya'll attend a "true hunter ethics" tournaments if the opportunity presents itself, as I was treated very well and can now "personally vouch" for the founder of this style tourny....this tournament gave me the opportunity to get my first "Ross" bow as they were a sponser (I think) and as it was the award for the "top dawg shootout". Hopefully, sometime in October it'll be here. Would like any information on tournaments and maybe "tournaments" could be added as part of the Ross Archery Forum Index as I've had a difficult time locating tournaments online and perhaps others are in the same boat. Have a great day and any thoughts would be appreciated.

Semo, here's a link to the Deermans website http://www.deermanstheworld.homestead.com/home.html
The shoots in Missouri are over for the summer but they are great shoots to attend. Lot's of fun. Their scoring is 15,12,10 and a -5 for a wound. I do know for a fact that the Deermans are looking for some Reps for the state of Missouri. Couldn't make it to the World's. But have been to all the Mo State Championships and a couple of the Triple Classics. Check em out.

The link from MoBowman is the info you requested, hope you checked it out (regarding T.H.E. tournaments) again, it was a real class act and they were really good people.

I've requested the CR37 Competion at 28 and a half draw with a 29 inch module just in case. Requested 40#to 50# as my intention is to have a real "pretty" bow for straight tournaments....hopefully it will be here by October. I'm very anxious as I've heard how smooth and accurate the bows are, and I'm not that interested in speed with the bow. I'm currently shooting a Matthews switchback XT and have to turn it down to stay within speed limits...it as well is a wonderful bow as most are these days, but am looking for something to focus on indoor spots with.

Can't wait till next year myself :)....they are pretty cool. Reckon as time goes by we will get to know each other a little better via this forum and possibly run into each other down the road at shoots. Thanks for your interest and input in this forum, hope to learn alot and maybe even contribute a little myself.....whatever I gotta do to get "button buck" by my name to go away :) Really helps me appreciate the time and effort you "wall hangers" have contributed to newbies like myself.....thanks to all who have welcomed me aboard.
