Does anyone know the difference between the Asolo Power Matic 200 and the Asolo Power Matic 520? Other than looks, it appears the only difference is 3oz in weight.

While as I REI I looked at the Asolo FSN 95 GTX as it is 6oz lighter. But, it is suede & cordura. Does anyone have any experience on this boot? Also would this boot be better than the 200 or 520?

I will be going on an Elk hunt in Montana near Helena.

Thanks in advance,

They are one of the big 5 European boot companyies. I like them becuase they fit my foot better than any boot that I have tried on in the past few months. I have a slightly narrow foot, which makes it tough to find a hiking boot. I have been to Bass Pro, Cabela's and REI.

** I have found out that one of the differences between the 520 & 200 is that the 200 has more forgiving heel. Which is easier to walk in longer and stalk in quieter.

I have Asolo Power Matic 200. I purchased a men's 12 wide, perfect for my foot and thick socks. These boot soles are stiff enough to reject sharp stones and yet flex just enough for very comfortable walking with stiff toes. The small pulleys used in their lacing system allows for flexing. The thick gauge of leather used has been impervious to all scrapes and cuts dealt by the 3 years of trail use. I find that having leather that is able to be polished is the best for keeping your feet from all elements.
Fine boot! And also I am interested in hunting boots . I have Lowa Men's Tibet GTX and it is one of the best hunting boots in the market.
