Hey Abnoba....Mike Rose here, staff shooter with Ross Archery and Tru-Fire releases.....look up Tru Fire releases, they are fantastic and the company is great to talk with. I hunt with the new Judge but their Tru Fire 3-D hunter thumb release in either black or camo is great with its swivel head,I think you will like it a lot. Give Tru Fire a call and talk with Steve....tell him I told you to call,he can answer any question you have and the quality of their releases are top shelf, also ask them to send you a catalogue. Good luck.....:) Mike

P.S. The combination of a Ross bow,a Tru Fire release and a Sword sight (www.swordacusite.com) is a deadly 3-D or hunting combination. The Tru Fire releases are very affordable and Sword Sights are unbelievable on a Ross bow...:)

I like my Cascade #8 and I have been trying a Carter. Looks, like I am going to have to put a D loop on the string. That Hunter looks pretty sweet too. Thanks for all the imput...keep it coming!

I really like my T.R.U.Ball T-handle thumb push release. I got tired of having to hold it all the time when hunting or placing it in my pocket between shots on 3D so I bought a V-lock strap for it. Works nicely!

Good morning Mike....that looks like a great release, I like yourself over have tried sooooo many releases it's funny. I have a Carter Hole 3 that is a real nice release and shoots as good as my Tru Fire Judge and puts the arrows uin the same place..BULLSEYE....I would like to try one of those Stan Super X releases sometime,if you ever run across a spare one let me know,I am always open to better ways. Thanks for the e-mail Mike and have a great weekend, it's always nice to hear from you. My wife and I are a week and a half away from moving to Tennessee and we are looking forward to the move, great fishing (we will be living on Old Hickory Lake,97.3 miles long) and a friend has a big piece of land and needs some deer harvested...:). I just got one of the new Tru Ball ST 360's and I am really likeing it. It is my first thumb release so I wanted to go with something with a swivel head so I couldn't torque the string and I love the hook instead of the calipers, switched to the hook about a year and a half ago with the Carter Quickie and it so easy to use when in the stand. If you can get your hands a 360 to try out I think you will like it.

Thanks for the info....I will keep that release in mind and look it up on the net. The one I am now having an imense of good luck with is the Tru-Fire Judge,it is forgiving in all respects and Im spotting LineJammers in a 1" dot at 20 yards consistently out of my Ross Cr334 at 55 Lbs. It aint right but it works.... The wrist releases seem to have a No-Torque built in...LOL But they do forgive a little more than a hand held release, thumb or little finger....hey,talk 2 ya soon and have a great week. Mike

I just got a TruFire 3D Camo Hunter release :) and although I have only played with it for one day, I can already tell it is a pretty sweet shooting release.
I have to adjust my draw lengh a lil shorter for this release than a normal strap but I notice I can "snap" a shot off very easily and seems to get me in the X alot better than other releases.
Once I figure out a more consistant anchor point and I sure it will be improving my scores soon. :(
