I am shooting the standard 2 inch Blazers and have tried them with a right helical and straight. Which one flies the best? I really can't tell a difference.

Bohning recommends a straight clamp with a 3 degree offset (left or right depends on what hand you shoot).

However, I know many folks that use their right helical and have NO issues.

I personally use straight.

I think you are safe either way.

have you tried a right offset? what distance are you shooting to compare? YOU might see a difference 35+ yards. IMO at short ranges you probably could never tell unless your shooting competitions and your groups would be a bit wide.

I have fletched blazer LH and RH both offset and helical.
I couldn't really tell if there was a flight difference in them.

Helical on a 2" vane is really just a lil bit more of an offset, it doesnt have the same helical effect as using a 4 inch vane.
I have stuck with the RH helical fletching with my blazers now, but mainly cause I dont feel like chaning clamps from mine, my wifes, and my daughters arrows. :)

I haven't shot them over 30 yards so that may be the deciding factor. I think right now I will stay with the RH so I don't have to change my jig setup.

Yep, I agree... i have tried both...and really can't see a big difference. The blazers are so short that you really don't get a full helical set; just a little more offset. I too have stayed with RH...

I tried them out to 30 yards and I can't tell any difference. When I get more time to shoot and finish the walk back tune I will shoot them farther and see.

I have shot mine out to 48 yards last year and didn't notice a difference in the differnat fletching angles.
Now the difference in 2" vanes and 4" vanes in the "KS prairie winds" was a big difference at 48 yards. :)
