Hard to base strictly on pic quality. For a price point cam the browning isn't bad at all. Even though xr6 and hc600 does have better night pics they cost a good bit more. BUT with that said reconyx has a more adjustable camera, solid CS and proven battery life. Granted that's me speaking but as trial said earlier what will make the difference is 2-3 years from now what will these browning cams be like.
I think if you're on a budget the spec ops is a good cam to nab up. There day pics are as good as any you can get but they could use some help on night time images and videos.
On today's pic and vid tests they was close on counts. Xr6 had 48 pics and 5 vids hc600 had 57 pics browning had 4 vids and 52 pics.

here is the hc600. browning has them beat. im going to half to send them in and get the updated IR's put into them as they should be brighter but hands down browning has them beat
