I'm thinking about getting a new set of string and cable from bucknasty. Anyone have any opinions on these strings. I've seen them and they look great. They also come with a Halo serving on the entire string and cable to help protect it from wear? Any opinions on them would be great.

Nothing against bucknasty, I have saw his work, he is great, but I get my all my strings from the "Mikes".....not just cause they have such a great first name. :)

Mike Carter known as "Crackers" (he will make the beast come outta your rig).
Mike from H&MBowstrings.com (great quality & colors)
Mike Jensen from www.mikes-archery.com (lowest prices strings/cables around and great quality)

Mike at H&M Bowstrings makes an awesome set of strings.

Bucknasty strings are some of the best, but the wait is getting way too long,I got a set from him when he first started advertising on AT and got them in less than a week, last I checked the wait was 4-6+ weeks,I don't know what it is now :???: I went elsewhere

And ya' can't beat a set from Vaportrail either, great quality and you'll get 'em in about 3 days

really depends on if the wait is worth it to you,to me it wasn't..

H & M makes some awesome strings and he stands behind his product. I had a serving coming loose before he went to Halo and he replaced it free of charge. I have never used Bucknasty strings but have I never heard one complaint about them.

Yeah John (bucknasty)(Gibblet) is still just doing his strings on the side. As much buisness as he gets he should really think about doing it full time for a bowshop or something. He does EXCELLENT work. The people I've talked to including him himself say that his strings require 3 shots or less to get them "shot in". They said in most cases that the strings didnt even require shooting before setting the peep. The only reason I could see replacing the Winners Choice strings is either because they are worn out or if you just want a more customized look.

I have to agree here, the stock WC stuff has proven to be the best I have ever seen thus far and cannot invision ever switching.

The WC strings have to be one of the best, if not the best, original equipment strings out there.

Bucknasty's strings are excellent. I actually prefer them over Vapor Trail and I really like my VT's. Also his time from order to delivery has shortened last I heard was a 10 day turn around from order to shipped.

Ordered me a string and cable from mike's archery and they really look great and are super cheap. I paid $30 to my door for the set and I even had my choice of strings and colors. ordered them on thursday night and had them monday morning. Shot it about 200 times and nothing has moved. :)
