I noticed the other day that Dish does not carry the Men's Outdoor Recreation channel (MOR) anymore. This was one of my favorites. Anybody know what happened?

i am peeved abouth this myself. does anyone have a sattelite carrier that carries the Sportsman's channel. i was wondering if Dish network dropped MOR to pick up Sportsman's? If they don't do something, I'll probably switch to Direct Tv as well.

Got a return email yesterday. Dish said the Mens channel and about 6 other channels were dropped and will not be back on. The funny thing is the second sentence started with " Please remember Direct TV does not offer all of these channels either" I sent them a reply telling them I would be dropping their service and picking up Direct TV over that one channel.

Only problem with directv is.Unless you live in an area where they broadcast local stations. You need an antenna.

That stinks! Well I guess I will check with Direct. I wish somebody would get the Sportsman channel, we need a channel without gold mining and infomercials!

I don't see the prospecting shows on as much as they used to be. A year or two ago seemed like that's all that was on.

when i first checked into getting a sat system i got dish network instead of directv because it had both outdoor channels.

i guess i will be switching also.
