I know this sounds like a dumb question but I have never shot a drop away rest before and will be this year when ever my cardiac gets here. the question is does it make a difference which way the cock feather on the arrow is turned???

depends

depends on the rest, how its mounted, and how high it lifts the arrow. For instance, when you rest is down and your arrow sits juoust above the bows shelf, an at attention the arrow is centered on your berger hole, you can most likely shoot it any way you want. With some of the NAP rest you have to shoot cock vane down. With a schaffer, trophy taker, drop zone, muzzy ze, and a few others i do not think it matters. With the other rest you bought i am not sure. I have an arrow that i fletched in about 3places all with identicle fletchings that i use when setting up a rest. That way i know if and where i might have any clearance issues without having to use white spray, unless its a cable rub and that would still require powder.

I have two TR drop zones that I really like and I have a ripcord on my Tribute.
If I buy another one, it will most likely be the QAD Pro LD....
I shoot cock vane up in my TR drop zones with the Ross bows but shoot cock vane out on my ripcord to get clearance from the cables on my Tribute.

I shoot $$$$ vane up in my TR drop zones with the Ross bows but shoot $$$$ vane out on my ripcord to get clearance from the cables on my Tribute.
Sounds awesome
