A group of students and I are in an engineering class participating in a senior project. We are to design a solution to a problem- losing an arrow while hunting or target shooting. so let me guess, a light weight tubeular designed tracking device slid into an arrow shaft. All you need is a tone generator circuit and a device tuned to that frequency to point you toward it. You can build one from parts bought at radio shack for under $100 and track your hurt game / arrow for 100 yards.

Scotchlite tape on the shaft. look for them at night with a flashlight
