You have been with me thru thick and thin....
Germany, Kosovo, Iraq, Afghanistan, and to your humble, last resting place here in Kansas........................I salute you....

My Bag Target-

You have combated thousands of arrows, some light- some rather heavy, pulling at your guts with every ounce of Kenetic Energy.
From 220 feet per second to a frieght train punching 315 feet per second, yet you with stood them all............
Only requiring a lil bandage here and there. Some masking tape maybe a lil 100 MPH tape; some extra wadding every now and then..................................You will be missed..........

What and I thinking..... 8)

NO WAY MAN, can you say stuff his guts back in; throw into a cardboard box and keep on going. :)

Mike, I'd say you are a first place candidate for a new bag targer. Morrells are only about $30ish bucks. Worth every penny. You should retire her, regular military people get early retirement shoudlnt she? :D :D

I think she might be able to get atleast sick leave :)

i see that description and photo of your bag and what comes to mind is a movie. Apocalypse Now, where where the Colonel just attacked and he is handing out his "death cards" and that NVA is holding his guts in with a plate. And the Colonel lets him have a drink of water.

Your bag is gone man, Keep your pic and give it a proper burial. If you must patch it, go to a construction site and find some scrap Tyvek, its durable stuff and it might give you another season, but probably not another deployment.

No, Mike NO, you cant give up it still has life in it.

Their is alway hope. I would get a new Morrell cover and restuff it.

We never leave a man behind, so lets suck it up and repair it for a few more thousand shots.

Find a Army, Navy, Airforce, Marine or Coast Guard brother who works for the phone company and get a roll of stuff called EZ wrap.

Find a friend with a strong stomach who will help you stuff the guts back in and wrap it up. Put it in a new Morrell cover and a few stitches later you will have your old friend back.

You have to try :???:

Jump up & down on it, wrap it in plastic. You'll be good for another 200 shots. Looks alot like mine.

Bass pro Shop is opening next weekend and they have bag target for 19 bucks. I think after the wave of people I will go check them out.

I bought 2 of them from the Bass Pro in Springfield, MO last year when they were on sale, they use a cardboard box inside under the burlap cover, very strong but man them arrows make a loud noise when they hit the bag.......
Good target though for the $$$. :(
