Well my shop is having a Grand Opening shoot the 13-16th of August. I can either shoot spots or 3D. Not sure which I want to do. Help me decide! It's only a 30yd range btw.

Well I've shot both, just don't know which one I like better. I'm not as good at 3D if I have to shoot first. Something about not having a specific "spot" to aim at kills me. I still seem to score pretty well though.

Don't know what btw. means? What a dilema, which one to shoot? Sounds like all the above have offered good advice and I'm sure you'll recieve even more I kinda like "shoot em both" in fact, I'd add, shoot em both a couple times...only you really know which one you really "want" to shoot and if not yet, it will come to you before the tourny. You'll know by which one your thinking of the most or by which one your preparing for the most or by which one will help you improve in a certain area in your archery. Chasing the elusive 300 w/60x or the 300+ benchmark with no 0,s no 5,s and/or no 8,s. I've only shot one spot tournament, but am hooked...would opt to shoot 60 arrows vs. 30 with maybe a mulligan, but in the end it's a win/win situation...enjoy the dilema and most importantly have fun!!!

By the way your sight should be there anytime. My back went out on me so I haven't had a chance to mail it but the better half did it for me yesterday.

Thanks guys! I wasn't having the greatest shooting day today, trying to punch the trigger. I got to play with a Tru Ball Chappy Boss thumb trigger today and liked it REALLY well. I would like to get a thumb release to play around with somemore sometime.

If I don't have one by then, I should be able to come up with something at the ATA show, I will probably get to go this year with my shop . If not, I have been promised one.
