skeptic?

Now i wouldnt say skeptic, I would say we like what we like.
I have 2 bows, a Parker Buck Hunter and a Switchback XT w/black limbs and as for thinking mine is better than your no.
But as for several people telling me my XT draws harder or doesnt shoot as smooth a Ross.
As for a Ross being better I cant agree that they are any better or worse.
BUT I will put Ross in my top 10 bows. After having gotten to a dealer and shot the Ross line I cant say anything bad about them BUT the XT still fits me better. I have even been given crap about my first bow that I bought offmy buddys wife, a Parker Buck Hunter, Both have busted knoch on arrows and both will group as tight as any.
Not to say that Ross doesnt make a good/great bow but I cant see driving 238 miles to buy one and same distance for service if needed.
If this was nearest dealer so be it if not well I wasnt driving.
Excelent workmanship, balanced pretty good but I just couldnt get comfy with it. But they are ,IN MY OPINION, are everybit as good as my Mathews.

MonzaRacer,
like you said...the bow that fits you best is the best for you...there are alot of great bows out there and sadly there are also the people who think every bow manufacturer sucks except the one they shoot.there are also people out there like you and i who are open minded about other bows.you will never here me bash anyone for what they shoot...i think mathews make a great bow and was looking at them when i sold my Bowtech...i decided on the Ross because it fit me best.the archery world would be alot better if everyone was open minded.

I have got to brag a little, proud papa deal....

My son took the Oregon OBH triple crown YABHF for the second year in a row. This year it looks like he has set all new records for indoor, field and 3-D. In most cases he is in the top ten compared to the adults, he's 15 so he'll be doing atleast 2 more years as YABHF.

Trouble is he isn't shooting a Ross but I will keep trying to sway him...

Doug??? :)

It's getting hard to beat him at our 70yrd pop can game :D

But I'd rather be beat by him than anybody else
I can bend up those arrows he is buying from me if that will help you beat him.

Just a little update, Jesse is shooting his 337 very well. He really gets a crowd of interested folks on the pratice line asking about the bow... a few rounds of inside out X's will do that hee, hee

He has gone from vegas face to 5 spot for the state indoor coming up in March.
I watched a little of his practice last night he was more than holding his own with the local adult freestyle guys shooting his BHFS rig. Keeping our fingers crossed and keeping it fun.

I'll update after the shoot. :D
i wish him luck :) hope he does well 8)
