I need to shorten my draw by about a 1/4 in(27.5 to short 28 a hair to long) whats the best way to do this?? I'm not shooting a loop so I can't make that shorter........Any ideas

Go with the 27.5 draw and put a short loop on. Or depending on your release if it is adjustable you can shorten it up a little bit.

scott archery makes a release called a wildcat. it puts your finger closer to the string so you can shoot possibly a 1/4 longer draw.

Thanks gang BUT I shoot a custom made BT with a rope that a friend and his son made untill the son was taken to the Big Archery world in the sky. I'm not sure how it would work with a loop But I guess I could try it. Thanks again

any way to change the length of the rope with a newer rope on your release? You could swtich out the ropes with a longer/shorter rope

Working on that as we ...post ??? I was thinking of adding twists to the cable but not sure what that would do to the set up.

Sorry I did not get back as soon as I said But I had a small problem Wed, Was cutting some shafts for a friend when the saw blade blew up on me and left a good? cut on my bow hand OUCH!!! I did get out tonight and shorted the loop on the release and its working fine! Thanks again!! :grin:
