An Army buddy and me are gonna hit P-H Farms in Oklahoma before we deploy to Iraq in Sept.

Florida has hogs everywhere only problem is people wont let you hunt them, they want them trapped. On monday I was near englewood florida and as I was passing a county scrub preserve I saw a whammer jammmmmmmer about 200+. It was just inside the fence and I would have loved to smack him with a hell raiser.......... Drives you crazy to see all the hogs so close yet so far away :shock:

I have mixed feelings about hunts like this. On one hand, it sounds like a lot of fun, but on the other hand it seems a bit anti-climatic, like kissing your sister. :sad:

What I meant was it just seems like less of an accomplishment than going out and hunting something yourself. If I shot a huge boar out in the wild I would be much happier than if I killed one in a fenced environment.
Sure you still have to make a good shot to get a kill, but it just isn't the same. 2cents
