Just picked up a new Jim Fletcher Fletch Hook release. For those of you who like a short release, this may be for you. The release is very comfortable and the trigger is as smooth as my Weatherby Mark V Ultra Lightweight. You also have two styles for the trigger option. One is a somewhat fat knurled sleeve that can be removed to expose a smooth trigger. The trigger can be adjusted for what ever feel you like, but still remains smooth as silk. I think this release will become my new primary and my Tru Ball Short and Sweet will now become my back-up.

Currently shooting a true ball, but have considered one of these.
somebow - I have been shooting the truball Short N Sweet and figured I would give the new Fletch Hook a try. I actually like the Fletch Hook better and will now use the Short N Sweet as a back-up. IMO, its worth given a try.

Tobin01 I two have 2 short & sweets, why do you like the flech hook better? Is the trigger smoother when it lets go? IS the adjestment for lenght easyer to do? How much do they cost? Thanks for your reply.
John
The one thing that really sticks out is the knurled trigger sleeve that it comes with ( I like the feel of it). Also, the hook itself is a little less pronounced and therefore I believe the string or d-loop is released a little smoother. Last but not least, IMO the trigger is smoother and no matter how many times I have shot it, it still surprises me when it goes off. You should be able to find them for @ $50.00 on the net or PM Dave (Doublelung) and see what he can do for you.

I also shoot the Fletchook and have since Febuary. I really like it from the big knurled trigger to the smoothness of the release.
