Can be bowhunting or just gun hunting.
Here is my most prized trophy so far, this was the happiest day of my hunting career. Not the biggest buck by any means but he was "special" to me, I hung the stand myself and I took this buck and a buttonbuck in bowseason. Made me feel more accomplished knowing I picked my spots ya know?
Oh btw, this is a muzzleloader buck, which explains the extremely LARGE entry hole. That's right, entry hole, needless to say he bled like a stuck pig for the whole 20yds he went. I had literally been out of my back door 15mins. Left the house at 6:50, in stand by 6:55, shot him at 7:00am, back at house, at 7:05. Doesn't get much better for a morning hunt
and the picture on the mantle
I should have him back from the taxi soon, maybe another month.
here's my first bow deer, I would have let him walk had it not been for my first deer with a bow. Made another good shot on him, slightly far back but only went 15yds and died in seconds.
