Hey guys, I posted this in the classifieds too but I figured you Target guys could possibly help me out. I am wanting to get a decent thumb trigger release. I am wanting to maybe trade my Little Goose Deluxe with the knarled trigger. I really think a thumb trigger will help me alot for shooting 3d and spots. I'd probably hunt with it too. Someone please say they can help me...lol. PM me

I just bought my wife a Carter Just-B-Cuz. Sweet feeling release, very similar to the Evolution Back Tension release. I shot this release both as a trigger, and ussing back tension with great results.

I have several Carter releases and like them all, my favorite is the Target Master , it's a couple years old but works great, I use it for hunting and 3D. I switched to a Scott back tension just for target shooting last year and have been drillin spots with it. :(

I'm going to do a review on the CCPorter Mako4 soon..
Chris was kind enough to sponser KiddRoss for '08

This is one awesome release http://www.thecenterx.net/Archery/Mako/mako.html
I STRONGLY agree... I owned a Mako for a while, and it was the most solidly built, best feeling thumb trigger release I've ever shot... Only reason I didn't stick with it was because it was on the large side for my small hands, and had a long throat from handle to jaw which isn't favorable for a guy with an already short draw length...

If CC Porter comes out with a release for smaller hands with a shorter throat on it, I'd buy it sight unseen the very day I heard about it... The very best in a pretty long lineup of releases I've tried.

I settled on that Carter Ember -- it didn't compare IMO to the CC Porter in any category other than the fact that the Ember fit my hand like it was made for it... I almost considered trying to adapt to the larger CC Porter despite the short comings for my own setup - I liked it THAT much. AND a great company to deal with -- they took it back from me and gave me a refund without any issues whatsoever.
