I HAD A SWITCHBACK AND HAD PUT THE MATHEWS REST ON IT. IT IS A VERY NICE FALLAWAY REST THAT WORKED VERY WELL. SO WHEN I DECIDED TO SELL MY SWITCHBACK I WANTED TO KEEP THE REST FOR MY NEW CARDIAC. I GOT THE CALL LAST NIGHT TO GET MY BOW AND WHEN THEY WENT TO PUT ON THE REST IT WON'T EVEN FIT. THE HOLES WON'T EVEN LINE UP AND THE SIDE OF THE REST HITS THE SIDE OF THE SHELF OF THE BOW. I WAS VERY DISSAPOINTED. SO IT IS FOR SELL AT A REASONABLE PRICE ON ARCHERY TALK IF YOU KNOW ANYONE WHO WOULD LIKE TO HAVE IT FOR THERE MATHEWS. I WILL BE BUYING THE PRONGHORN TROPHY TAKER FOR MY NEW CARDIAC. I SHOT IT FOR A LONG TIME AND IT IS A VERY GOOD REST TO.
I tried to put one on a 337 in the shop the other week and found out exactly what you described. I ended up going with a Schaffer rest (basically the same thing minus the noise dampeners on the broadhead guard). Schaffer has 3 different styles, the Mathews model (Mat-1), the Hoyt model (Tec-1), and a "universal" model( E-2). We need the universal model for the Ross.
