I'll probably end up

I will most likely end up near O'fallon. I will hunt Warren, Callaway, Maries and Miller counties. Were you at Fort Leonard Wood? I hunt on a friends farm near Dixon, oretty close to FLW. I am actually getting out of the Marine Corps not retiring though.

yea FLW (Ft. LeonardWood), I came into the Army there in 1990 and kept going back for various schools then was stationed there from 97 to 01.
Kind of made MO my home away from home and the wife liked it there so that is where we are gonna set roots after the Army.
I even have some family in Ava, Springfield, Nixa, and Marshfield too.

Awesome

Well I would guess that gives you about 3 years left until you get that greeters job at wally world. Just kidding but that is what every retired Marine says they want to do. Its stress free.

Welcome to the forums and welcome to Missouri. If your gonna live in O'fallon don't forget about some of the archery only areas around STL. There is also a good spot north of you in Lincoln county that I frequent.

I know the area very well. I lived there all my life before leaving for the corps. I am really looking forward to getting back. Just need to find a jobby job.

Camp Pen

They still had it when I was there. It was over there pretty close to the air station right before Rattlesnake Canyon road. I never got the chance to shoot there because I was going through school at the time. I am finishing up my last tour now 18 more working days left in a 9 yr. career.
