I got a deal on some LW Assault treestands and am, of course, keeping one for myself.
Nice stand but I really didn't like the bare aluminum look. I wanted it to blend in a little better so I did some "artistic" work to it yesterday

Great idea, I think I'll do the same to my LW climber. I had a hang on but some $%&*&^) stole it!!!

By the way, does your bow fit in the holder? Mine will but not with the rubber grommet I paid $10 for. I haven't tried to put my Cardiac in it but I'm guessing it won't fit either

Good question. We have an older model LW and our old mathews bows wouldn't fit. It would be great if the cardiac did.

I haven't tried the bow in the holder yet.
I'll probably just hang it from the tree anyway.
Not sure if I want it right in front of me.

I leave my quiver on the bow at all times so I know it won't work that way, the ends of the arrows would be in the way

I use an EZ hanger for my bow but it's nice to have the holder on the stand as a back up. I left my EZ hanger in a different tree one time last year. I had to pull the rubber grommet out to put my bow in the holder. You do have to remove the quiver, or in my case last year remove the arrows from my two piece. That's one reason I bought a soft- loc for my Cardiac.
