I don't have the 7DP but do have the Hunter and love it. It is rock solid.

I have a Hogg-It, a Hunter Hogg-It, and a Right On, all with HoggWraps. I have never come across a more bullet proof sight. So, I would say go with a Hogg ~ any of them. They are worth the $.
