Threw a camera out at my dads property on a convergence of trails, no buck sign what so ever just really wanted to get some hunting in and see what was out there. I was pretty blown away when I saw the pics. I expected some does and squirrels, that big 8 is looking pretty dang good though. Hopefully they start moving during shooting light.

Yes sir! I am originally from MI so it is nice to go see the family too, but there is no better road trip then one that ends in time spent hunting.

There are so many good deer in mich. to hunt it's amazing. Glad i live and hunt in west michigan.

I'll take IL over MI any day. When I live in IL I'd see at least 1 160" or bigger each year. Getting them in range is another story. Michigan I've seen 2 over 100" in many years of hunting. Location location location lol

Yeah I've only seen in person two deer over 150" while hunting in Mich for 26 years. And I hunted NE and NW and south central Mich. But there are some big deer its location here in Mich.
I hunted Kansas twice and saw two deer that would go over 150 on state land diy hunting. Try to find that on Mich state land.

You need to hunt lower west michigan...the line would be a tad south of Grand Rapids down to indiana...cut off detroit area, Jackson county and hillsdale county...good size deer. In lower west michigan you have allegan and van buren county and surrounding that have some nice bucks. Go to Michiganbuckpole.com either on facebook or the sight....you'll see.

Hunting up north is a complete waste of time and money.....no deer and if you do find them...there small like a german shepard.

If you don't live in lower west michigan ....you really wouldn't understand just how many deer there are and if you go a tad off the beaten path there are some nice 125 ish - 150 ish bucks....it's better than most will let on.
