I've shot a Whisker Biscuit for years, never really used a dropaway much, but I have a QAD LD I just put on my new Ross CR331 ( HUGE amount of gratitude and thanks goes out to Dave @ Doublelung Archery :( ) he has my business from now on for anything I need )

I'd like to see some pics of how you guys (and gals if any  !!) have them setup.I'm kind of leary of using that clamp thingy they supply and am wanting to see/know how you all have the cord atached to the buss cable.

post some pics if you any please.

Thanks all in advance

No dont use the "football" serve it into the cable. :(
I don't have a QAD anymore, I had a version prior to the LD version and couldn't get it to tune very good on a Bowtech.

should the prongs be hitting the shelf when it drops or just above it ?
Mine seems to hit the shelf, maybe thats why it seems so noisy to me :???: but the bottom of the arrow shaft is above the bottom of the berger hole already :???: :???: should I raise it up some ??

like i said above,I'm kind of dropaway illiterate

Is your shelf padded?
I would think the arrow holder should not hit the shelf but be a mm or two above the fleece padding on your shelf.
I am by no means a QAD expert, I ended up selling the 2 (non LD models) I had cause I couln't get them working without clearance issues.

On my cardiac with the qad hunter. The bottom of the arrow is just about in the center of the holes. When it is in the down position the prongs are about 1/4 " off the shelf. It will take you a little while to get tuned in.I had had some problems hitting fletching. So i done some fine tuning move this rotate that adjust the cord. Now the rest drops about 8" in front of the fletching.Spray some foot spray on the bottom of the arrow.Hold it up with your finger or have some brave friend hold the end till the rest is up. Set the arrow in the rest and shoot you will see on the arrow what the rest is doing.Good luck if i could figure out how to post a pic. i would show you my results and setup

bushlight:
I have the LD model..problem is I cant raise it anymore, the containment arm/main bracket :???: hits the cable rod where the rest is set up at now ( 3/4" from riser to arrow center ); I still need to shoot through paper(tomorrows plan) but it sure seems to shoot pretty straight at the limited 15 yards I can shoot here, fletched and bare shaft hit the same spot.I know 15 yards isnt much, but its all I've got here without loading everything up and heading to the farm I hunt on..

Icom,
Move the rest all the way up and try to get it level (it will be touching the cable guard). Next put the TL1 launcher on and set your nock point between 1/8 and 1/4. Adjust your timing so the arms come up within your last inch of full draw. That should get you really close. Paper tune your elevation by moving your nock point instead of the rest. That's how I have mine and it works flawless. Once you get it shooting you will love it.
