Nice looking arrows Double Lung! I shot a few arrows today with 4 inch feathers and Slick Tricks 100g. They flew really good. They do make a slight hissing sound cutting the air but so do the Blazers. Do you guys have problems tearing them up walking through the woods and hanging limbs and such? Thanks for the input.

I've never had any trouble with them.
I shot vanes for a year, about 15 years ago and went back to feathers.
Not saying vanes are bad, I just like feathers better.

I even shot a 3D league Monday night in a downpour. My feathers were REALLY wet ( as well as me) and they still flew fine.

I have mostly shot vanes....But off and on messed around with feathers. But this year I fletched up some shafts with 4" feathers. After shooting them back to back against my vanes. Which were 2" Blazers for hunting and 1.8" 3-D Duravanes on my 3-D arrows....I found that the 4" feathers flat out grouped the best! So for 3-D I have been shooting the 4" feathers and havent re-fletched the hunting arrows yet...but thinking I may.

Feathers are hands down better than vanes. I have two arrows that i'm currently still shooting on the range that is missing more than half of the feather and shoot exactly the same as my other arrows. everyone always said well there not durable there no good in rain, this and that. if your feathers aren't in perfect shape it makes absolutley no difference what so ever. if it rains so what when you shoot the feathers fluff right back out shaking the rain off. i've tested every bad thing that people has said about feathers. (BIRDS FLY WITH FEATHERS NOT RUBBER OR PLASTIC MATERIAL) :(
