60-70lb draw, set at 60 for now
draw length: 29in
arrows: carbon express Terminator 6025, 29in.

when I picked up the bow, these are the arrows that the guy recommended to me, so I went with em....I'm a bit at a loss as how to determine the proper set up of my arrows (weight, spine, etc) and what weight broadheads I should use on em. They're probably fine as is with field points, but of course I want to put some BHs on some...

can ya'll try and explain in simplton terms how I determine the weight of my arrows, and how I choose the proper weight broadhead for hunting?

Well there are some variables. Some look at speed, some look at kinetic energy, some find a happy medium.
But you always have to look at FOC and spine. There are charts that will help you. I can find the links if ya want.
For example with an 85 grain broadhead on a 29" goldtip 5575, and pulling 70 lbs, you will have X amount of speed, kinetic energy, and FOC. Go to 63 lbs and switch to a 125 gr head. Every thing changes. In reality, the common hunter probably doesn't worry too much about everything together and kills alot of deer.
In short you don't necessarily need to "tech out" to hunt well.
But alot of deer are missed or hit bad and/or not found, where
with a good arrow setup this might be avoided some.
Hope this helps
