ripcord problem
Has anyone had problems with code red not falling without trip cord excessively tight?

No problems for my dads he's had his on his bow for going on three years. I'm using the SOS now with no problems either. Contact ripcord I've heard their CS is as good as it gets
If the cord is tight and tied in properly (or football clamped) Try to loosen the two screws a little on the housing. They can be tightened too tight causing the spring to get pinched. And by little, I mean 1/4 turn. You should be able to test it easily enough just by cocking the rest and pulling on the cord.
I did test it, when tripped by hand it works fine, as soon as I shoot it would not drop. Works fine with excessive tension.
