I have come to grips with the fact that I won't draw 70lbs again. I'm 32, just had a shoulder surgery in February, doing rehab dedicatedly, can't shoot my 44lb Ross or 44lb Bowtech without pain, so the 70 lb Bowtech Allegiance has got to go. I gotta say it is my favorite. With the smooth mods, I haven't shot a bow i like better.....

I guess I'll get really good at tuning, and makin' arrows, seems to be the only part of archery I can do as much as I want....

Thanks for letting a fella cry a bit.

Sorry to hear that, Zip. That really bites. Hope your rehab goes well and you can get back to shooting again. Heck, get some 50# limbs and turn them down to 40# until the shoulder starts to come around. Good luck!

50lb limbs

My Tribute and 337 both have 50 lb limbs, and I have them set at 44. It helps, but still is tough.

Ah well, my buddy thinks I ought to get my doctor to sign off on a crossbow permit here in Minn. Then I could archery hunt with a crossbow. That doesn't sound to good to me....

Do whatever it takes to get you in the woods. I know that's what I'd do.

I'm sorry to here about your bad luck but don't give up yet your young it takes time to heal. I'm 53 I have arthritis, bracitis, tendonitis and 2 bone spurs in my shoulder and they gave me a shot of something new like cordazone almost 3 years ago and i'm shooting a 70lb cardiac over a 100 shots a day and my shoulder feels better and better 3 years ago I couldn't put my coat on by myself or lift my arm higher than shoulder level but my therapist said use it or loose it and he was right.Use a lighter poundage and work your way back up it takes time best of luck to ya.
