i swear when I see those ross silver gunmetal cams from the side they look black and then to look right at them they are the color they are supposed to be
I know exactly what you mean. Not that it's at all important, but Ross has the best looking cam and idler out there IMO.

Gotta clean up my office/man room before I can share a pic... That's been on my to-do list for a while, so maybe this will help me get to it finally today.

yes I agree with the statement of the ross cams being the best looking. I dont know but for some reason i love the look of gunmetal. I also like the bowtechs but the bowtech cams can look like mirrors in the sun, and ross's arent as bad. And I like my bows to look good as well as shoot good. You have to be proud of what you shoot and you need to be able to show it off. Ross fulfills every requirement!!

That's a great idea! I just shrunk one down to 75% for the 15 yard range in my basement. I had been just shooting at the normal size 5-spot prior to that, and this will create a more realistic practice situation. I also changed the outer rings to black so that it doesn't require color ink to print at all, but they're still darkened up enough to see the whole target unlike the grayscale setting on XPrint.

If anybody wants the 15 yard reduced size 5-spot target for practice just let me know and I can e-mail the file to you.

Not yet, but being in the Army and usually in some remote place (as if KS isnt bad enough) :) , it's good to be able to do everything I need to at home.....
I have been doing work for other Army buddies though. :(

Did you get the 5,000 rpm saw, or the 8,000 rpm? I have been looking at the 5,000. The $99 price tag both intrigues me, and scares me. What are your thoughts on the quality of the saw?

It's a 5000 RPM model.
Have not even used this one yet, but I have used one that was rated at 3500 and it did a fine job on all types of arrows.

This will eventually be my man room. I have just built a new house and havn't had time to get everything set up the way I want it. I'm eventually going to finish the concrete walls seen in this pic with some old weathered oak taken from a barn. I have a bunch of stuff to hang on the walls. To the left of where I'm standing while taking the pic is my temporary loading bench. I'm in the process of building a permanent one.
